Isadora Martins is an aspiring architect and designer. She currently works at Poles Studio in Rio de Janeiro, having previously worked at Standard Architecture in Los Angeles and WRNS Studio in San Francisco.
She graduated in 2019 with a B.Arch degree from Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture.
Her work seeks to demonstrate how the social, political and environmental aspects of a building can serve to change ways humans interact with one another. She is interested in designing buildings that stay true to their materiality with a focus on sustainable construction methods.
Whilst in school Isadora completed internships at KPF, KoDA Miami and Bernardes Arquitetura. She also worked as a teaching assistant for the 48-240: Historical Survey of World Architecture and Urbanism for 1st year architecture students.
She is passionate about photography, history, furniture design and her dog: Jack.
